Unlike our previous trip, this time we were prepared. After months of saving, we decided to plan a trip that would include both business and pleasure. The timing was perfect, we had the ideal window in our lives to incorporate a month long trip across China, Thailand and Australia.
From last year, Aman spoke fondly of China, he could not wait to return and share his experiences with his closest friends. So myself (Ben), Jake & Aman booked our flights to Beijing, planning to then visit Chongqing before heading over to Thailand.
The plan was to use this trip to get the perfect content for the T-shirts we had prepared. From Aman's previous visit to China, he had sketched and painted various landmarks across the country. We took these sketches, digitized them, then printed them on to our shirts.
We brought these T-shirts out with us intending to visit the exact spot where they were drawn 12 months prior. We succeeded. These moments felt full circle, being able to bring to life what we had been working on over the past few months was an undescribable feeling.
